General Information

Pelion, the mythical mountain, the Centaurs’ Mountain, is nature’s absolute beauty.  Many wonders and myths have originated from this eternally magical place.


The Centaurs were welcomed here, mythological creatures, half-horse and half-human, the wisest of all being the noble Chiron, teacher of Jason, Achilles, Asklipios and many others.


Wood from Pilion was used for the construction of the Argos, and thus allowed the heroes to realise their great journey, the Argonauts  expedition.


It is here where the majority of the country’s flora exists. It is here that every

season, every moment is always special.
